Night of the Museums

Once again, from the Department of Culture of the Generalitat, the group of Catalan museums is proposed to join the celebration of the International Day of Museums 2023, while organizing open days and activities that follow the motto of ICOM (International Council of Museums - International Council of Museums).
MIT is added and opens its doors from 19:00 to 21:00.

Working Women's Day is an important date to recognize the contribution of women to the world of work. Within this group, female puppeteers stand out for their courage and determination. These brave women face daily challenges and fight to achieve their dreams and career goals.

What is LAMBE-LAMBE?
It is a miniature theater created in a box. Each performance lasts approximately 4 minutes and is designed for one or a few spectators to view the play by putting their head through a hole in the box.
The small puppets and objects inside a scenic box are accompanied by music and/or voice transmitted to the spectators through headphones and represent secret theatrical situations.

World Puppetry Day 2023

MIT has been chosen this year, by UNIMA Catalonia, as the venue for the celebration of this important day for the puppetry community and puppet lovers.
The museum has created community by involving the village schools who have built their own puppets inspired by the forest and the traders who have decorated their shop windows. The Town Council of Palau-solità and Plegamans has decorated the institutional buildings with puppets and put up an informative banner at the institution's headquarters.

metaverse Exhibition rooms
From November 2 to December 1, 2022 along with the North Foundation and the four, is they created three exhibition rooms in the metaverse.

From last November 21 to 25 this year, it took place at MIT ininternship of the Polish puppeteer Tadeusz Wierzbicki.
The stay was staged on November 26 with great public success and as the closing act of the festival IfBarcelona.
INAUGURATION OF THE MYTH

Last November 19 and 20 this year we officially inaugurated the MIT, the International Puppet Museum of Catalonia.
It was two fantastic days full of magic where we were able to enjoy with the assistance of many people who wanted to support us on dates so marked by us.
PUPPETS AND SYMBOLIC TRANSFORMATION
From November 14 to 18, 2022
The week before the opening of the museum, we were able to enjoy a master class taught, for five consecutive days, by the prestigious professor Karim Dakroub.
The course offered specialized training with a psychosocial model based on puppets.
VII INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON EDUCATION AND PUPPETS
July 11, 2022
Last July 11 this year, the first outstanding activity was held at MIT.
Although we have not yet officially inaugurated the Museum, we celebrated the Seventh International Day of Education and Puppets.
It was a very happy day for all of us who participated. And we are already working on new projects that will surely be as well received as the Conference.
