MIT International Puppet Museum in Catalonia
We carry out activities aimed at people from different cultures and realities, supporting the fight against inequalities in an effective and above all creative way. Since some groups need more specific resources due to their circumstances, we will collaborate with the program Approach Culture, which offers proposals for groups with functional diversity and people at risk of social exclusion.
From'Puppet and Therapy Association of Catalonia, which is based in the museum, organizes activities for children, young people and adults with disabilities, at risk of social exclusion, grandparents...
They are a great way to encourage social inclusion and diversity, creating an environment where everyone feels accepted and valued, developing new skills and strengthening existing ones and fostering autonomy and self-esteem.
Participating in these activities with other people provides the opportunity to socialize, create friendships and feel part of a group.
They experience new sensations and positive emotions by learning practical knowledge and skills that will be useful in their daily lives.
