Are you looking for an enriching, creative and educational school trip? At the International Puppet Museum of Catalonia we offer school visits, guided tours and participatory workshops so that the pupils discover the world of puppets whilst working on the’oral expression, creativity and emotional education.
Our school visits are adapted to each educational level and age group, with explanations and activities designed to make learning participatory, experiential and stimulating.
The pupils will discover the different types of puppets, their history, manipulation techniques and their uses in various cultures, through games and participatory activities.
In the «Awaken the Puppets» space, children will be able to manipulate different types of puppets and put oneself in the shoes of a puppeteer, developing imagination and oral expression.
A representation that combines, puppetry, magic and audience participation, designed to surprise and move the students through the language of theatre.
Each child will build their own puppet he will take it home in an activity that encourages creativity and manual skills.
The museum is situated in a 14th-century farmhouse surrounded by nature, a tranquil and safe environment that allows school visits to be complemented with outdoor activities.
For learning to continue beyond the visit, we offer teaching materials and activities for use in the classroom before and after the experience. The contents are supervised by Teia Moner, museum director, teacher and therapeutic educationalist.
Pupils do not just observe the puppets: they manipulate, experiment, play and create. An active way of learning that encourages curiosity, participation and discovery.
Puppets are an educational tool that facilitates the expression of emotions, communication and creativity, in a fun and participatory environment.

Yes! The museum is located in a farmhouse surrounded by nature, ideal for taking a break or complementing the visit with outdoor activities or games.
Yes! the museum is located in a natural setting with a large park around it. You will find a fountain, swings and quiet spaces where you can have lunch outdoors and let the children play after the visit. It is an ideal environment to extend the cultural experience.
The full experience lasts approximately 2 hours, including the guided tour, the show and the workshop.

Yes! The visit is indoors and we have space for breakfast and lunch in our facilities.
Yes! The museum does not close until school is out and all its services can be used. The staff will be able to attend to any need.
