VII INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON EDUCATION AND PUPPETS

PUPPETS AND POST-PANDEMIC EMOTIONS

In this seventh day we focus on post-pandemic emotions. One of the resources used to learn to manage emotions is puppets. This year we have the honor of having health professionals and puppeteers from other countries who will generously tell us how they work.
The pandemic has led to changes in life routines, motivated by social distancing and limited mobility, which has led to alterations in the emotional state of children and adults. These changes are likely to remain over time, even if the stress no longer acts.
Almost all post-pandemic reactions are related to negative emotions. Thus, fear, sadness, anger, feelings of loneliness, helplessness and uncertainty often appear causing various symptoms such as anxiety, depression or blockage.
Given this situation, it is essential to have an adequate knowledge of the mechanisms of emotional management and the management of distorted thoughts, aimed at enhancing our resources to minimize the emotional impact and psychological consequences.
Listening to and participating in the experiences of the people who will accompany us on this day on the work of emotional management with puppets, can help us in professional practice and in the personal sphere.
We hope you enjoy a happy day.
