MIT International Puppet Museum in Catalonia
Pre-inauguration activities began Monday, November 14 with the course given by the prestigious professor Kareem Dakroub and which was titled 'PUPPETS AND SYMBOLIC TRANSFORMATION'.
This course was organized jointly with theIF Barcelona and the magazine Putxinel·li, lasted for 5 days On Saturday the 19th, the day of the inauguration, the teacher Kareem presented the results and conclusions of the workshop to the audience.
Although it has been quite some time since the MIT, the International Puppet Museum of Catalonia, began its history offering various events and courses, it was last day 19/11/2022 when the official opening ceremonies took place.
The ceremony began at 5:30 p.m. on Friday the 19th, with the reception of the authorities and the presentation of the temporary exhibition "Capturar l'Alè", by the photographer Jesús Atienza given by the MAE, Museum of Performing Arts of the Theater Institute.
The opening day ended with the shows of the Museum's resident company, Addaura Visual Theater and magicians Brando & Silvana.
The Disciples of the Long Stone Demon de Palau-solità and Plegamans brought fire and light to the end of the day.
It was Saturday, November 20 open day, with great audience attendance.
The two shows "PIPA, the wonder puppet" of the Puntual-Néstor Navarro company and "The Return of the Putxine-lis" of the Titelles Vergès company sold out their tickets, the group of Gianters and Grallers of Palau-solità and Plegamans they danced in front of the museum and together they made us enjoy an unforgettable day.
