El Tom\u00e0tic is a character on Catalan television who appeared for the first time in the program Super 3 or Club Super 3, broadcast from 1991.<\/div><\/div>
\u00a0<\/div>
It was a mixture of phone and tomato with sunglasses that talked and had an answering machine where the supers asked him for videos.<\/div>
\u00a0<\/div>
Towards the beginning of the 2000s, Tomatic started to have its own program, Top Ten Tomatic, where he was a disc jockey, and music videos and interviews were broadcast, contests were proposed to the supers and there were also gags between spaces, starring by Tomatic himself along with Cousin, his cousin.<\/div>

The Tomatic had a completely extroverted and crazy character who during the first stage was accompanied by the Verona, another phone that was the antithesis of the red tomato: serious, laid back... and with which he was in love.<\/div>

During the following years, he became the most recognized icon of Catalan television and was associated with all the children's programs of TV3.<\/div><\/div>

L’any 2007, el Tom\u00e0tic va passar a formar part d’una nova campanya publicit\u00e0ria per a promocionar la televisi\u00f3 digital, que va ser llan\u00e7ada per la cadena catalana. Aquesta campanya es va dir \u00abTom\u00e0tic On\u00bb, en la qual Tom\u00e0tic era el protagonista d’una s\u00e8rie d’anuncis publicitaris on explicava els beneficis de la televisi\u00f3 digital.<\/p>

Avui dia, el Tom\u00e0tic continua sent un dels personatges m\u00e9s reconeguts del Canal 33 i \u00e9s usat per a promocionar cada vegada m\u00e9s productes relacionats amb la televisi\u00f3 catalana. A m\u00e9s, ha estat el protagonista de diverses s\u00e8ries infantils com \u00abConeixem al Tom\u00e0tic\u00bb o \u00abTom\u00e0tics\u00bb.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

In 2016, the screenwriter and monologist\u00a0Andres Palomino <\/strong><\/a>publish the book \u00abGeneraci\u00f3 Tom\u00e0tic\u00bb<\/a><\/strong> which pays tribute to the childhood memories of an entire generation\u00a0<\/div>
