MIT International Puppet Museum in Catalonia

A space for creation

Residences for companies, researchers and artists

We want to be an area where you can develop your creativity.

One of the goals of this MIT space is to support the creation and production of stage programs by facilitating access to its facilities for creators, researchers, and artists in order to carry out the proposals, offering them a place. for research, expansion and consolidation of their projects.

In this sense, MIT makes its facilities available to residents, and also offers the possibility of hiring the tutoring and artistic support service of the director and founder of the Teia Moner Center and / or her team, in projects that , due to their complexity or casuistry, require extraordinary support in the process of research, creation, production and exhibition.

A call will be opened in 2023 aimed at creators who present stage proposals from any of the artistic disciplines or research projects. The residency will last 10/20 days. The selection will be based on criteria of technical quality, feasibility and suitability for the MIT line of work.
The organization may invite participants to a pre-selection interview in order to obtain more detailed information about the projects.

The calls will ask for a curriculum vitae of the artist or company, audiovisual material if any or previous work in which he participates, the number of participants, the description of the project to be developed during the residency, the technical requirements if applicable, and any other documentation deemed appropriate for understanding the project.
Residents will have a workspace during the agreed term, workshop, rehearsal room, and support that will allow them to work without pressure, flexible hours and a commitment to help them and provide them with the necessary tools to facilitate your creative process.
